My art is unique. I don't paint, I don't draw, I don't sculpt; I design and build. I build miniature log cabins using miniature furniture and miniature figures. For Christmas my sons gift me with tools; 3 years ago they bought me a table saw and new chop saw. What more can a mom ask for? I have been building cabins for six years donating them and gifting them to my children. For the past five years I have exhibited and sold them in Christmas shows. Because most of my inventory sells at these shows, I begin building in early summer.

Each cabin I build has accent LED battery operated lighting, decorated Christmas trees and miniature gifts. No two cabins are identical. The toy shops have very miniature tools on a work table and miniature gift wrapping on a miniature wrapping table. I celebrate Christmas through the eyes of children and the beauty of snow and decorations.

I design interior of candle lanterns with Christmas or snow scenes. Each lantern has accent lighting and are uniquely different from each other.

My Christmas wreathes are designed and detailed by me. I try to theme each one from whimsy to music to religious.

While it is not possible to ship my cabins because of weight and fragility, I can ship my candle lanterns and wreaths. Enjoy perusing my art. I look forward to hearing from you.

  • Authentic North Pole photography studio

  • My first show will be in the Tacoma Dome. Octoer 26-29, 2023, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., I will exhibit at the Tacoma Holiday Food and Gift Festival. My second exhibit, November 7-11, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. will be at the Starving Housewives Echo Falls Holiday Craft Show in the Echo Falls Golf Club, Snohomish Washington. Because of weight and fragility of cabins I am not able to mail them but will be happy to answer any questions about prices and custom items. Depending on the complexity of the cabins it takes me 2-3 months to build a cabin.
